Pros

PHMG is a company where you can really thrive – both personally and professionally. During my seven years here, I’ve risen from junior level to joint head of a department, earning promotions on four separate occasions. Hard work and talent is always recognised, and the rewards really do come with the right attitude. Aside from the career progression, I’ve also had the opportunity to work on a host of exciting projects – including video shoots on location at St Andrews golf resort, in renowned recording studios and in New York, with filming taking place in Times Square. This trip in particular was an experience I’ll never forget, and it was all thanks to PHMG. Another pro of working at PHMG is you’re surrounded by like-minded individuals who make work not just fulfilling, but enjoyable. Particularly within the Creative departments, working with so many young professionals encourages collaboration and improvement through knowledge sharing, and there’s always a fresh perspective to be given on your work. And on a social level, it means colleagues fast become friends, and there are endless opportunities for a good night out. While not the be all and end all, the PH Perks scheme should also be recognised for the way it gives something back to staff. Free gym membership in particular saves you the cost of something no-one enjoys paying for, and the company events are something to behold. It’s a rare occasion when all staff have the opportunity to come together, and the Summer Soiree and Christmas parties cause a real buzz around the office – they really feel like a reward for the hard work of the last six months.

Cons

The demands of the job alongside CSR responsibilities can make it difficult to establish a healthy work/life balance at times. Additionally, the set breaks and lunches can feel a bit institutional.

Pros

I've been working at PHMG for over 4 years. In that time I've been given the opportunity to travel the world. Working in 3 different office's - London, Manchester and now Chicago. The work is hard, but very rewarding. They only promote from within, meaning you can climb up the ranks quickly if you put in the work. One of the nicest offices/office environments you’ll find. PHMG put great emphasis on having a good work life balance. From softball to team nights out, it’s a very welcoming and fun place to work and socialise.

Cons

Hard work is a must.
