Pros
I worked a PHMG for over a year and thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there. The company has a fantastic product and this is validated by the number of clients they have globally. They offer a sterling training programme and in terms of management I have never felt more valued as an individual in my whole career. The company throw lavish events to reward individuals for their hard work and performance and I had the pleasure of attending the summer soiree in Manchester this year. It was a wonderful experience and proof of the comradery that is present throughout the business with employees, Managers and Directors alike. The London office is a true display of just how far the company have come since their inception and the amount they value their staff. Being on the 20th floor of City Tower, there are incredible panoramic views of the whole of the city as well as a pool room and Xbox for people to use on their breaks. That coupled with the cash incentives and the sterling commissions you receive in your bank account each month make this a fantastic place to work that offers real career progression for those who are willing to give it their all.
Cons
Irrational commitment, continuous improvement is the company mantra and this is reflected by the work ethic of the people working there. This is no walk in the park and you will have to work hard to compete against the company elite, however if this wasn’t your intention to begin with then you shouldn’t be working in sales anyway. If this place has taught me anything, it’s that I will never again work a role where I can’t affect the outcome of my pay check through my own hard work and determination.
