Pros

I worked a PHMG for over a year and thoroughly enjoyed my time spent there. The company has a fantastic product and this is validated by the number of clients they have globally. They offer a sterling training programme and in terms of management I have never felt more valued as an individual in my whole career. The company throw lavish events to reward individuals for their hard work and performance and I had the pleasure of attending the summer soiree in Manchester this year. It was a wonderful experience and proof of the comradery that is present throughout the business with employees, Managers and Directors alike. The London office is a true display of just how far the company have come since their inception and the amount they value their staff. Being on the 20th floor of City Tower, there are incredible panoramic views of the whole of the city as well as a pool room and Xbox for people to use on their breaks. That coupled with the cash incentives and the sterling commissions you receive in your bank account each month make this a fantastic place to work that offers real career progression for those who are willing to give it their all.

Cons

Irrational commitment, continuous improvement is the company mantra and this is reflected by the work ethic of the people working there. This is no walk in the park and you will have to work hard to compete against the company elite, however if this wasn’t your intention to begin with then you shouldn’t be working in sales anyway. If this place has taught me anything, it’s that I will never again work a role where I can’t affect the outcome of my pay check through my own hard work and determination.

Pros

I joined PHMG last November as a New York BDM, and was incredibly impressed from the word go. My initial training took place in Manchester, and everyone I met with was hugely welcoming and went out of their way to make my time in the UK memorable. I returned to the US two weeks later confident in my company and my product, and I was proud to represent PHMG back at home. During my 10 months at the company, everything I was promised when has joined has proved true. The earnings I’ve achieved have reflected the hard work I’ve put in, and I’ve been hugely successful in my position. Clients here love the fact that you work for a British company, and the quality of the slick, professional product makes it an easy sell. The incentives and perks are also off the scale – for our Summer event, we had VIP tickets to Chicago’s Lollapalooza festival, and saw the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Disclosure. Now’s a really good time to be part of the company, especially for the American staff. There’s a real feeling we’re taking the business somewhere special, and I’m excited to see what the future will bring.

Cons

Liaising with an office on the other side of the Atlantic is difficult sometimes, so you do feel a little isolated at times. Having said this, staff in the UK are incredibly dedicated and provide support when you need it.

Pros

I’m a Business Development Manager at PHMG. I’ve been at the company for just over 2 years and enjoy every day of it. I’m selling such a good product that it makes every meeting a potential opportunity and the rewards are truly excellent. Yes there can be a lot of pressure, but most of that is what you put on yourself to succeed and do well, but you get lots of support and the initial training gives you such a good starting point from which to perfect your pitch. I’ve had the chance to work with a wide range of businesses from across the country, and there are opportunities to travel to places like Canada, America and even further.

Cons

The biggest con with this job is the amount of time on the road, but the rewards make all the travel worth it, as do the incredible businesses and business owners you get the chance to meet and work with.
