Great story about trying to help indigenous people to be trained and become employed by this company. Yes, they train and certify you, then you become a slave to their whim. Good story, but not reality. The indigenous employees get less in compensation, career opportunities and overall respect, when compared to non indigenous. The training was supposed to be for indigenous only, and now they are training non indigenous as well, backpeddling the origin story for this company. They just merged their parent company, PQA to become PLATO as contracts and funding are easier when telling a feel good story about training and hiring indigenous people. Don't trust a word they say, it's all lies. Every word that comes down from the top is a lie. It's a painful realization, and truly depressing. On top of all that they pay way below industry average salaries and benefits are the worst I've seen. The ability to move up in the company is also near impossible for anyone not already in leadership. Stay away from this company. If there were jobs available in my region for this field I'd be out of here.
