Pros

Great co-workers, chill work environment and super laid back. Dress code isn't really enforced and as long as you don't show up in your underwear it's okay. Get some insight on the trucking industry as a freight broker.

Cons

It's a glorified pyramid scheme. The benchmarks are made to where it's nearly impossible to achieve, which explains the 90% turnover rate. Incentives and benefits are close to nothing. They don't tell you any of this in the interview, especially if you don't ask. PLS pretty much uses you to do the dirty work for 3 months and kicks you the the curb when you don't hit your benchmarks. Then, once your gone, they take all your customers and business that you've brought into the company and keep making money while you don't get anything.

Pros

Very laid back environment. Good transition for those who are barely graduating school. Majority of the office is in their early 20's. This job is a decent stepping stone to add sales experience on the resume.

Cons

Unprofessional management style and A LOT of politics. The company has a turn and burn environment and is ran like a Ponzi scheme. The company clearly does not care about its employees here because they know the turnover rate is so high. At the end of your career here, the company keeps the rest of your earned commission from the last payout date, which will be at least one month of work.

Pros

Very fun staff. You're all in a horrible experience together. You bond over it.

Cons

Take it from someone who worked in multiple departments for several years- do not approach this company. Your career will not grow. You will be let go. It adds no value to a resume and new employers recognize how bad it is on your resume and start to think you have bad judgement for even involving yourself with a company this abhorrent. From my experience people think you are part of a pyramid scheme. I can't say that's not the case.

We're disappointed to see that you regret your work experience at PLS. PLS is a growing company, and encourage our employees to be successful, we train, mentor and promote employees. By nature, this is a competitive industry, but also rewarding. I will pass your comments on. Thanks.
