Pros

Potential to make money. The boys at the top are making money.

Cons

Newbies do not have the same opportunity as the managers. Not many make a lot of money. Sell supplemental Insurance, Company doesn't offer even basic health insurance. They tell you when to go to work and end, yet you are an independent contractor, not employee. Total Independent Contractor. 1099.

The only good part about my experience at PMA is that it gave me claims handling experience to get a better job at a better company that actually treats its employees with respect.

Cons

Everything about working at PMA was horrible. The management just drills down on you so badly until you are just a shadow of yourself.

The people, great benefits, good office culture.

Cons

Pay. While the starting salary wasn't bad, I felt I couldn't have made any money if I would have stayed with the company. Raises with promotions are sometimes insulting.
