Pros

Lots of room for growth, tons of opportunities, rewards hard work

Cons

Very demanding, always on culture. Has grown a ton in the last two years which has left the culture feeling more like the impersonal and robotic corporate culture you would receive at a holding company.

Thank you for sharing your feedback - we appreciate your thoughtful perspective. It’s great to hear that you’ve found PMG to be a place with ample growth opportunities and recognition for hard work. Supporting career development and rewarding performance are cornerstones of our people-centric culture, and we’re glad that’s been part of your experience. As PMG continues to grow, we see it as an exciting opportunity to evolve while holding onto the values that make our culture unique. Growth can bring new structure and scale, but we remain committed to preserving a culture that’s grounded in meaningful connection, shared purpose, and genuine care for one another. We know the pace can be fast-moving and the work challenging in meaningful ways - but we’re equally focused on fostering connection and creating an environment where our team can thrive, not just perform. We always welcome additional thoughts or suggestions - whether through your leader, your HRBP, or the myVoice platform during an open survey. Pros

This used to be a wonderful place to work, but unfortunately, the last twelve months have been a downward spiral, with misery trickling down from higher-ups that has now reached the people below management. Some aspects of the job can be flexible to fit around other responsibilities and requirements. Some of the people you work with are great, but that doesn't extend to upper management who are out of touch and don't really care.

Cons

PMG took over our company and blinded us all with false promises. Everyone from the former company has either left or is miserable and thinking of leaving. The takeover was a disaster from the outset, but it has gradually deteriorated. Work-life balance has completely vanished, and the stress and upset from work regularly infiltrate your personal life. You are expected to work beyond your hours to keep up with your workload, but without overtime pay. The rewards system is transparent and poor. You only receive recognition or progress if you're someone who works outside of your contracted hours and if you shout the loudest. Earning a promotion is next to impossible, and the pay increases for said promotions are minimal and not comparable with the extra workload and responsibility. You are expected to adapt to new procedures with no training and penalised and punished when you are unable to complete the task because you have not been properly trained. If you are required to work on something outside your client work, which happens often due to dwindling numbers of staff who keep leaving, you will be expected to prioritise this, while either letting your client work suffer or working beyond your hours to be able to complete your workload. Lower pay and extremely poor "pay rises" and bonuses, especially when being promoted.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your experience since the beginning of the integration has not met your expectations. We know that transitions can be challenging, and we are sorry to hear this has left you feeling unsupported. At PMG, our culture is rooted in people-centric values, with a strong focus on collaboration, growth, and integrity. We also aim for our rewards approach to be competitive and reflective of performance impact. That said, what matters most is how these commitments are felt day-to-day, and we understand from your feedback that there are gaps to address. Concerns around workload, recognition, and training are taken seriously, and we remain committed to providing employees with the support and tools they need to succeed. We invite you to share any additional feedback through your local leaders, your local HR Business Partner, or you can always reach out directly to Jon, Stacey or George. Additionally, you may use our myVoice feedback platform to provide feedback in an anonymous fashion, coming up during an open survey. Thank you again for taking the time to share your feedback. Your insights are invaluable in helping us refine and strengthen our practices.
