Pros

There will be times you ask yourself "I almost forgot, I'm getting paid for this too!"

Cons

The initiation is brutal. I noticed some other reviews mention the gas, tolls, and long hours. That's true, it sucked. But I'm living proof that it gets better, head roadies make $250+tips a night and drive company vans with ez-passes provided by POSH. On a good weekend (3 gigs), I'd make around $900. Not bad for a 3 day side hustle.

Pros

Working on weekends throughout the night and paying for gas and tolls was definitely a pro.

Cons

You get paid $100 pre tax a night to drive from your house to Cranford, NJ. Load a van or truck with a lot of heavy equipment. Then drive to the wedding venue. Setup equipment. Leave the venue. Come back in 5-6 hours. Breakdown equipment and load in truck. Follow the truck with your car back to Cranford, NJ. Unload the equipment back to it’s proper place and then have a cigarette. At this point you worked from 11am and it’s now 4am the following day. Yes! You earned your $100 for your time and gas!

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for sharing your honest and truthful review of your experience with POSH DJs. While you explained the sub roadie level in great detail, you failed to mention that sub roadies typically get promoted to roadie level in about 1-2 months. These promotions include more pay and use of POSH vehicles during work hours. The sub roadie position was put in place to continue the screening process from the initial job interview and for us to gain a better understanding of a team member’s work ethic. Ideally, I do not want anyone to remain as a sub roadie with us but rather move up the ranks as quickly as possible by demonstrating professionalism, reliability, loyalty and communication. Further opportunities include DJ'ing, Sales, Marketing, Operations and Management. I want to see all of our passionate team members flourish and succeed at POSH whether they see DJ'ing as a career or simply want to gain valuable work experience. I'm sorry it didn’t work out. I wish you the best of luck with your future endeavors and career path. Also, for your information, all our u-haul rentals go through our business account set up with u-haul and under our company name. U-haul simply requires drivers to show a valid driver's license before handing over the keys for insurance purposes. Sincerely, Michael Bedkowski Jr. Owner
