Pros

i have a feeling the reason posh has some negative reviews on here is because most of those people were looking for a quick way to make some cash. i'm not saying that's a bad thing at all, but posh isn't a great way to make quick money. if your trying to do that, look elsewhere. however, if you are someone who is trying to make a living in a creative place, wether that be audio engineering/video/lighting/DJing/Photography/ect., posh is probably one of the best places to start if you are in college/early 20s. i started when i was early in college, worked my way up to head roadie and stayed there for the rest of the time i was working there. if you are someone technically minded you'll learn so much here, it's like a sampler of different technology. you'll work with dmx lighting, industry standard dj equipment, pro level speakers, and much more. you'll interact with photographers, DJs, live musicians, there are even a lot of music producers and artists in posh, too. the amount of collective knowledge there is awesome. i found that my troubleshooting skills improved from working there, you'll be under pressure sometimes so you'll learn to think fast. posh is like a hub of people from all different backgrounds, i always loved asking people what their hobbies are and what they've done for work, cause it's always something new every time and you learn something new every day. if you're putting in effort it doesn't go unnoticed, and they will not hesitate to move people up in the ranks. they don't lie when they say you can move up in the company. even though i left posh, it was a great job to have throughout college and i learned lots there. staff is incredible, owners and management were great too. overall i had a great experience working there.

Cons

- sub roadie phase is pretty brutal. you'll probably be a sub roadie for 2-8 weeks depending on how you perform - you'll probably become a night owl real fast. even after working there i'm writing this review at 4am and it's been difficult to switch back to a regular sleep schedule - having to go pick up a u-haul from time to time was a little annoying but it didn't bother me too much - time off is a bit tricky. a bit much to explain but it got a little frustrating at a few points.

Pros

Working in entertainment is a fun job especially when you get to work with so many great people. There is a transparent company ladder laid out for everyone because management genuinely cares about seeing their employees succeed.

Cons

There are long hours on your weekends which sometimes is too much for people but it is totally worth it, Posh takes care of their employees
