Pros

Able to attract some good talent, some have English communication issues.

Cons

Need to be careful of coworkers, managers, and making promises Blaming and office politics can be very bad. Management can be very ruthless with employees and consultants. Don't expect any real training. Some managers are not qualified to hold their positions.

Pros

PPD looks for hard working people and if you can demonstrate the excellence you can go to the next level in a short period of time. Great PTO benefits, WFH flexibility.

Cons

With the recent outsourcing, there has been some layoff and would be more but management is not transparent communicating the information. Company is more focused on meeting the financial goals and off track on assessing what can work well from the employee AND financial point of view. In order to please clients to get more business, sometimes unrealistic goals are set which puts burden on project team (extended hrs). Resources are available to assist during crunch time but issue is that they are not trained well enough to pick up the task and could compromise quality. High turnover rate in the last few weeks.

The worst job I've ever had

Pros

The only pro to working here is you are not living off unemployment.

Cons

The pay is outrageously low for the work load they expect you to do. The Burger King by my office was paying $2.00 more an hour than what my office was paying. The managers are completely unaware of the tasks they demand their employees and the person who assigns you and demands work from you is not who is listed as your manager. The employee morale is some of the lowest I've ever seen in my life. You are micromanaged and treated as a child as much as possible. Room for growth? Think again. Once my raise was 23 cents. CENTS. while the company pulled in millions and you are asked to work almost around the clock. Promotions are given on a twice a year basis yet are always given before you are reviewed. They are also done based on race. Each round the white and blacks would take turns getting promotions. You knew if a white person got a promotion last time then the next time it would be a black person and so on.
