      Growing company with plenty of career opportunities..

      Pros

      PPG is a well-respected global corporation and offers a lot of opportunity for career growth and development. The company is growing and focused on expanding its position in the coatings industry. Senior management is demanding but fair in my experience. Goals are clearly defined and managers are given the tools and support to deliver on what's expected of them.

      Cons

      The company is working to improve its diversity, but it has a very long way to go.

      Pros

      Job stability, good benefits, plenty of perks if you're told about them.

      Cons

      Poor organization/communication. Was hired on, not trained, and asked to preform the job. Couldn't even be told by manager how to put my time in to be paid. Not told about perks that earn me money, understaffed to the point where I can't even use vacation days, I have to call off to use them. This might just be my site, but this is the poorest run operation I've been a part of, and I've dealt with the Post Office and Military. Absolutely ZERO advancement opportunities.
