- Management tends to alienate wiser, but more difficult to work with, employees - Constant strive for innovation when we're an electric utility - Lots of political conflicts in upper management - Almost non-existent IT support due to multi-year business transformation - Technical work is rare to come by, so not a good place if you're an ambitious, young engineer

Toxic workplace. No recourse to merit, just pure office politics. Every employee is on a crab race against one another. Job not good for your mental health. Runs on fear and panic
