      Corrupt family runs company

      Pros

      Great benefits, good pay, about what you would expect from a monopoly.

      Cons

      Terrible managmemt bordering on corruption due to one family being promoted to Sr. Management and executive positions throughout the company. You can't expect integrity when one family yields so much power at what is essentially a publicly supported monopoly. There are no financial checks and balances to maintain morality because electric utilities will always make money.

      Pros

      PPL is a great place to work. The people here are friendly, supportive, and always willing to help out and give their time. It’s an exciting place to work and there are always new things to learn and new challenges. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement and career development.

      Honestly, I have been here for over three years and there have been no cons so far.
