Change is necessary in this entire sector. From our leadership position we are taking a hard run at driving positive change. If you're into doing the work of a DMC in the way it has always been done then respectfully, this may not be the place for you. With how demanding the industry is and how quickly our team is expected to turn around proposals, we are not given the technological resources to effectively produce the deliverables in a timely manner..we use such a manual and outdated process . You find yourself having to work evenings and weekend week after week to try to keep up. We are also short staffed and they won’t hire in certain departments despite everyone in that department drowning in work. The local level management try’s to support as much as possible but their hands are tied because ultimately the regional leadership who are the ones who call the shots are out of touch with what’s going on in all the regions they “oversee” and expect everyone to continue working like machines. What may work in one region or market, doesn’t always work for another.
