3yThank you for your time at PRO. We’re pleased you enjoyed your access to the gym and accommodating hours. As far as tips, we are a private membership club. Tips are not expected and are at the discretion of the guest. In addition, many of our members come from other countries where gratuities are not part of their culture and are considered condescending or demeaning. Our most recent audit shows that the starting pay for a barista at PRO is $17/hour with an average of $4/hour in tips. We have recently upgraded our POS systems to provide a more convenient method for mobile payment while also providing a method to add a gratuity for above and beyond service as most people do not carry cash.
