Pros

The club has everything full weight room, four swimming pools, four basketball courts, six tennis courts, racquetball, squash, personal trainers who are certified and have four year exercise science degrees.

Cons

Lots of members so it is hard to get to know everyone. Benefits are good but not great.

Pros

Some of my coworkers were very fun people. I made a lot of friends and thoroughly enjoyed working with them.

Cons

I worked closing which was very stressful, I couldn’t completely clean up while the gym was still open because people would still be using the equipment. Closing is at 10PM and my shift ends at 10:30PM. So essentially I would have 30 mins to rush to clean everything up which is nowhere near enough time. If I would clock out even a few minutes late, I’d get in trouble. Employees aren’t allowed to sit down or relax anywhere that gym members might see them, so we would need to take our breaks in an electrical/supply closet since it takes up almost half of the break time to walk over to the break room.

Thank you for your employment at PRO and for your candid feedback. We’re happy that you enjoyed your co-workers. It’s the people who truly make PRO a great place to work. We do offer a very nice and spacious employee lounge for employee breaks and with our PRO BEST service culture, we reward those who go above and beyond to make sure the club is “Show Ready” for our members. Our closing procedures for our fitness centers have been designed to complete in about 15 minutes, which we think is reasonable. We’ve shared your feedback with our managers so that they may review any other opportunities for improvement. Please note, all employees are encouraged to personally discuss their concerns or challenges with our department leaders, senior directors or HR director.
