Pros

+ Lots of autonomy + Employee culture feels like family in some respects + Flexible schedule depending on position + Free gym membership + Ability to grow in position and move around the company fairly easily + The president of the company is kind and generous, but doesn't have much say on upper management decision making I would recommend a position here if you want to get to know the health industry, meet new people, and work in a fairly flexible space. It's a good stepping stone for future career moves. I would recommend PRO Club to a friend if they are seeking a calm place to work as they ponder where they want their career to take them next.

Cons

- Toxic upper management corporate culture that trickles down - Plenty of HR violations that go unreported because people are afraid to stir up controversy within their respective team - Feels as though you are back in high school - CEO will not listen to advice, has sexist ideals, has racial stereotypes, and is not afraid to threaten to fire anyone if they do something he doesn't like, even if it's sharing an opinion he is unhappy with - Must wear an uniform - Reactive company as opposed to proactive - Lack of proper communication between departments - Lots of gossip and two faced behavior - High turnover rate (usually a bad sign) - Each department has their own culture and they like to weed out people not based on their skill sets, but based on their personalities; meaning if you don't "fit in" then you will struggle and the team will not try to accommodate to who you are much - An unhealthy obsession with weight loss and beauty Ask anyone who has worked at the company for more than 6 months and they will each have their own list of grievances. Many regard PRO Club as a "sinking ship" due to poor management, high turnover, and lack of a proper vision. Additionally, the company will make you feel as though you are not worth much when it comes to compensation and they are not afraid to tell you that you are not worth what you are asking (even if it's within reason) as opposed to kindly letting you know that they do not have the budget for what you are asking. It's all about tact - one quality many at PRO Club lack.

We always appreciate constructive and candid feedback from our Cast. Thank you for taking the time to provide your perspective while working at PRO. As you know, we review all of our Cast feedback with our HR team, managers and president so that we may objectively assess any trends or opportunities for improvement. From your feedback, we can see that PRO may not have been the best experience for you and we’re sorry we weren’t the perfect fit. We do pride ourselves on the longevity of our Cast and the family aspect that we strive to create at PRO. We also welcome our Cast to connect with our president privately if you wish to expand upon your comments or have them personally addressed. If you would email us at socialmedia@proclub.com, we’d love to connect you or you may call the Club and request to speak with Richard Knight. Thank you for your time at PRO.

Thank you for taking the time to share your point of view working at PRO Club. I am so sorry to hear that you feel PRO Club is a turn and burn environment. With the addition of PRO Medical, the facility expansion, and additional updates and changes comes a much busier than normal environment. During this time, our goal has been to make sure each and every Cast Member is being heard and cared for, and we apologize that this did not come across. As the expansion is now done, we think that things will continue to get smoother but would love any feedback on how we can better this process. As an ever-growing Club in a competitive space, we will continue to strive for perfection and making the Club the best possible place it can be for both members and guests alike. We would love specific feedback from you on where you feel that we are chasing perfection and could do a better job of making sure Cast Members are taken care of. Please email me personally at dknight@proclub.com, so I can guarantee that we will take the best next steps possible. Thank you – Richard Knight, President.

Pros

Aquatics staff has such a strong community and everyone works together as a team. Pay is really nice, especially if you teach a combo of privates and group lessons. Lots of benefits working for PRO Sports.

Cons

Very large company and constantly growing/expanding so sometimes there's construction going on and parking can be a hassle, but they're very understanding and willing to help out
