Thank you for your employment at PRO and for your feedback! We are happy to hear that you had a good experience with us, and would like you to know that our summer camp counselor's compensation is equal to the compensation provided at similar positions in Bellevue. Our HR department conducts regular appraisals of industry compensation so that we remain fair and competitive. We also conduct annual performance appraisals for career advancement and compensation increases. Advancement and compensation increases are based on a variety of factors including initiative and acquired job skills. Additional benefits for full-time employees include two health club memberships, paid medical insurance, 401k reimbursement, service discounts (Pro Shop, Spa, Salon, Auto Salon, Personal Training), free Group Fitness classes, free onsite physician, free or co-pay only medical services (dermatology, podiatry, counseling, physical therapy) and paid time off. These additional benefits add to the total compensation package. Our HR department and Senior Directors are always available if employees have additional concerns or seek support.

Pros

PRO Club is a great place to work if you're not working in management. Non-management employees get great benefits, competitive pay, and a positive working environment.

Cons

I would not recommend taking a management position at PRO Club. They expect too much and do not compensate managers fairly. I was working 10-12 hours per day on a regular basis and still had to take work home to meet the expectations that were placed on me. All while working in a salaried exempt position that did not qualify me for overtime pay. Needless to say, after years working under these conditions with no improvement, I left for a better opportunity. Over the years the company has increasingly put more pressure on Managers to increase revenue with fewer resources (expense budget, staffing, management support, etc.). At the same time, they made it more difficult to earn bonuses and failed to keep pay competitive despite increasing manager workload and number of direct reports. In addition, the company continues to rely on outdated business management systems which decrease efficiency and make it harder to provide a positive experience for members.
