Pros

Competitive pay for most positions with a fun atmosphere and supportive management team.

Cons

The uniforms can be a bummer, but they do make getting ready in the morning easy!

Pros

The people (members and employees) are some of the nicest people I have ever met and really try to make you feel at home. There are great team building activities, monthly continuing education, lots of support from peers and managers, and flexibility in schedule for personal trainers.

Cons

Building up clientele is a very slow process and can leave you with a less than ideal working schedule. With this type of work you need to be prepared for spotty hours and be good at selling yourself to gain clients. There is also a very strict dress code/uniform to wear everyday that gets old after a while, but only a minor annoyance. Finally there is not a whole lot of room for position growth, basically you will always be a trainer here and that's about it.
