Pros

Continuing education, mentorship, 3 months salary before generous commission, paid vacation, thousands of members so very easy to build clientele, friendly coworkers, wealth of knowledge.

Cons

High standards, if you cannot perform well under pressure, know how to relate with clients while explaining the science behind what you're doing as a trainer, this is not the place for you. The expectation is to build a VERY strong clientele base. Be prepared to work hard! (But, I LOVE that so it may only be a con if you don't), required to work Saturdays

Pros

Discounts on Spa products and services. Medical benefits after 3 months of full time work. Also club membership included.

Cons

Too many supervisors trying to advance to higher management positions and management is out of date with new trends. Spa is needing a remodeling and will be getting one. However, they are adding more pools for children and present clients are unhappy with that idea. Also when you work at the club, you just don't want to work out there everyday, its just crazy for most employees to be there to work out with its members. No one really likes it.
