      Small Company - Small Town Mentality

      Pros

      ProEnergy needed experienced people to perform their jobs and appreciated older-skilled personnel.

      Cons

      Many skilled personnel are let go due to “downturn”, but in reality it is due to inability to lower professional standards to meet a very small minded company.

      Pay, plenty of hours, and cell phone reimbursement

      Cons

      fast growth and hiring of employees without proper background or training once hired on. Sink or swim training environment and spread out support.

      Pros

      There are some good people who really care and want to succeed.

      Cons

      Management is out of tune with people. It's an abusive place to work, no training, no appreciation, just constant degrading. Whatever you do wasn't the way management would do it, however, they never have a way to do it. It's a bunch of re-treads from other companies that get promoted 1 or 2 levels above where they were at and they aren't qualified to be in the positions they are in. Review & bonus program is a joke, lots of promises and then always find a way to not pay it out. The outlook isn't great. Benefits used to be good, but are below average now.
