Marketing this awesome company and culture could be better
From the very beginning I was impressed at the cross-functional, cross-departmental, network of help and support each-other at PROS. We want each other to succeed and to succeed as a company.
Cons
It's not clear how to some people get promoted while others don't. Do you wait to be asked or do you go out and ask for it? At what pace does it occur? Why is that person not a VP???
When I was at PROS they were definitely struggling from a lack of strong product leadership. That said, I really like the people that worked there and an all-hands on deck mentality. I believe they have righted a lot of issues that were around when I worked at PROS.
Cons
Lack of strategy and functional discipline...but again, I think they made some great hires over the past two years.
