Pros

Working with passengers is pleasant during flight. Most of the pilots are excellent and pleasant to work with. Having the possibility of a flexible schedule and free travel passes are positives.

Cons

Company has taken a fun little job and removed most of the 'fun' parts. Management is understaffed. Pay is low, most F/As must supplement and could still qualify for govt. assistance. Notice in Pros the word possibility.... company/contract rules limit that flexibility and load factors are about 85%, making free travel difficult to get on the flight you desire.

Pros

Traveling sometimes if you can get a trip and there are actually nice people you’ll like working with. The job is great but the treatment can be so much better. Getting to switch to different departments if FA isn’t for you can be done very quick just keep your work ethnic clean.

Cons

You’re going to sit hot or on reserve forever. Crew scheduling abuses the hell of you which is normally why you would have a bad experience. PSA is very unprofessional they will send you where ever they need you and your safety will not be cared about. You’ll be without a room or 45 minutes away from your crew at a ghetto motel instead of a hotel full of drug users. They will also send you away from base sometimes to sit at a different base for 4 or more days which would seem fun until you get there and there’s no room and no transportation until your very last night and guess what your managers are not going to care at all. If your sick and have to call out your punished and whatever the other FA’s that isn’t acceptable instead of firing them then the company will just make a decision to take away certain benefits from all FA’s. There’s no money in regional so make sure you’re already established or don’t mind being a bum to look important and ain’t got a pot to you know what in. Regional is not Mainline remember that and do your research. Try getting in Delta first.

Pros

It was great to have free flights as a perk.

Cons

Long hours and low pay. Crew Scheduling didn’t always follow the rules of flying so you needed to know the contract to protect yourself from being over worked.
