Pros

The health benefits alone are great, the added elective benefits are a plus as well. A nice amount of PTO and also the Paid sick time is a huge bonus. Employee hardship fund/loans are an additional bonus. There are more programs allowing agents to participate more in being involved with company as well and learning opportunities. There has been an increase in employee engagement. The pay is very competitive. Great perks such as Mojoes (café), you can get smoothies, a variety of flavored coffees and teas. We also have a gym facility.

Cons

Work life balance is a huge con, especially if you are an agent taking calls. Slow opportunity for growth.

Pros

I don’t think there are any pros about this place.

Cons

They interview you and promise Everything from the shift changes to flexible schedules to pay increases to promotional opportunities. This could not be further from the truth. I worked here for six months and worked my butt off learning more than one department and not receiving a pay increase in the hopes that I would get a promotion. It took them almost a month and a half to interview me and finally give me an answer, only to find out that the person who got the supervisor position was friends with a manager and had less experience than me. They promise shift bids yet the department I’m in was told we weren’t eligible and had to stick to our schedule for another year. We were PROMISED that if we had good stats we could change our schedule. The supervisors are never there when you need them, there is no help support except “helpdesk” and they are rude and unprofessional. Long hold times to get to help desk over 10+ minutes sometimes yet they expect you to have an average handle time of 3 minutes or less. The pay is not good and the new benefits they rolled out are not realistic for everyone. They also said that if you get hired into a customer service position after a year you could transfer into other departments such as fraud or disputes. Then come to find out they hire from outside directly and Friday and they hire people who have no experience yet they get paid more. Completely unprofessional atmosphere, and you get thrown onto the floor after 4 weeks of training and get told to sit anywhere and it can take months to receive a permanent work desk. As for the job itself, you’re basically a paid operator as you have limited access to ACTUALLY help anyone who is calling in. 75% of the calls are referring the caller back to their credit union during normal business hours, and then you get yelled at and verbally abused. Doing two departments at the same time for only 15 an hour is not worth it. There are no promotional opportunities unless you’re a “favorite”. High turnover.
