Pros

Nice building , good benefits. Some nice people .

Cons

Management and Supervisors don't believe in the employees skill, and only care about numbers. Very little respect to employees whom have seniority in the department. No training to move up in the company. Manager was the coldest person I ever meet in my entire life, and was fake at the meetings but during regular work time ignored. Everyone like they were beneath her. They look for ways to get the older people fired because they work slower than others. Except one older lady I knew they sent back to contact center where she came from. Repetitive script , quality assurance picks the dumbest things to mark people down for . Good luck on your review, no matter how well you do they give small raises. No communication or respect for employees, and plenty of favoritism to watch for a lifetime. At the end of the day you feel like a used piece of garbage when you could be the best person in the department.

Pros

I've been here 5 years and the pros that I saw when I came in are gone. Except the benefits. PTO and insurance plans are pretty top notch, but unless PTO and insurance are the only things you desire then look elsewhere.

Cons

One year we got an email saying bonuses and raises were being reduced due to the economy. The very next day we got an email thanking us for our hard work and helping the company make record profits. Computers and systems are out of date, they keep trying to bring in new systems (for card servicing, phone systems etc) that are broken or work less well than the old ones. When we need to upgrade our computers, and put more money into employee retention, they instead buy treadmills, put up a coffee bar and installed a very expensive new IT center only to make themselves look good, although none of that helps the business or the employees do their work.

Pros

Friendly coworkers who treat each other with respect, which is good because you'll need a shoulder to cry on after taking 100 calls a day from members who abuse you, and a system of call center metrics designed to take away any motivation for a bonus! I spent two years second guessing myself about this company. As a single mom, I was forced to work holidays instead of spending time with my children, and was rewarded with a 25 cent an hour raise after two years of loyalty.

Cons

The list of cons is too long to write, but the problem starts with an outdated business model, inferior technology and a real serious issue with work life balance. Simply put, the call center expects 24/7 commitment from everyone while paying embarrassly low wages. Companies like this take advantage of the poor economic environment, but when things do turn around they won't survive, because people remember how truly awful they were treated!
