Pros

PSEG is a legacy company that, as long as people rely on energy supply and delivery, will never go away. Pay is typically above average- compared to folks in the area, former classmates, etc. There are many opportunities to change roles once you're in as long as you put in the work to network. I've met people who have looked out for me, spoke highly of me behind my back, sought me out for different roles and have mentored me.

Cons

DEI is still iffy, and favoritism is huge, especially trying to get in. I've seen a LOT of people who were severely unqualified get hired or promoted because they knew and/or were related to someone. The pandemic has made it hard to fill roles, and folks are overworked.
