Pros

A lot of flexibility with the work schedule. Ability to grow once you're competent.

Cons

No real con, this place is what you make it. Also depends on who you have as a manager.

Pros

Cons

Working at PSEG as a technician was one of the worst experiences of my career. The company is managed by hypocrites who treat you like you’re a nobody, no matter how hard you work or how much you contribute. Racism among co-workers was rampant and tolerated. Management did nothing to stop it. Nepotism was everywhere — jobs and promotions went to friends, family, and favorites rather than the people who actually earned them. The union was no better. They only looked out for screw-ups and for themselves, not the honest workers who needed real support and fair representation. Overall, it was a toxic, unfair, and demoralizing place to work. PSEG does not value or respect its technicians.
