Pros

1. Solid software stack, regularly recognized as industry leader across the entire stack. Few companies can say that for all their products. 2. Work like balance is great, start w/ 20 days PTO, 5 wellness/sick days, 2 volunteer days, 2 floating holidays, birthday, and 10 regular company holidays (USA). Move up to 25 days PTo after 4 yrs. 3. Excellent onboarding and on going training. PTC has a great training program for new hires and recently build out ongoing learning for sales reps. 4. Benefits and perks- good health insurance, 401k match, espp plans, access to at home work-outs, tuition reimbursement, free mental health sessions, discounts at select colleges, cell phone reimbursement, and so much more. They really do a good job of offering a wide variety of perks 5. Parental leave- 12 weeks full pay for new moms and dads, includes adoption. 6. Stock grants

Cons

1. Definitely a good ol boys club, especially in sales 2. Layoffs in November 2021- very far reaching and unexpected. 3. End of quarter is insane, don't ever expect to take time off the last week of the year, this includes time between Christmas and new years. 4. Lack of diversity. Women and people of color represent very few positions of leadership 5. Shady sales reps. Every sales team experiences this to some extent but I have seen the worst of the worst at PTC. ( This has to do with the good ol boys club mentioned above) 6. Territory competition (internal competition)

Pros

1. Four weeks PTO and birthday day off 2. Decent pay 3. Flexible working environment, you can work from home multiple days with manager approval. 4. Many many perks

Cons

1. Restructure happens every couple of months; you don't when, and why you get a layoff, a demotion, or your title is no longer related to your background. There was a person who worked there for two years and got an additional paycheck for the layoff. 2. If you are a female, be prepared to be mistreated. If you walked around, you might hear a manger publicly shaming his subordinate, and nobody says anything. HR won't help. 3. The working culture can be harsh. Be prepared to have a confrontational type of communication on a daily base.
