Extremely Disorganized and Politically Driven Management

Pros

Salary is on the higher side for MA. Benefits package is also good. Large customer base (although not growing) means some stability

Cons

Poor management, highly political, locker room mentality, no attention to work/life balance, no focus on employee growth, management actually takes pride in PTC being a "brutal place to work" (actual quote from a marketing VP)

Racist and unethical executives and their assistants

Pros

Some of the most hard working and intelligent people drive this company. The other half that has been around for a long time is very questionable. Half of executive team would be accurate. Excellent people in SVP and VP positions.

Cons

Quite a few executives were having an affair with their assistant’s and majority of all executive assistant’s were white women, the few that weren’t had to deal with being treated very differently and even though they don’t report to any of the other assistant’s, the length of employment created an hierarchy. Very unprofessional and unhealthy environment

Cons

Frequently reneges on offers made to candidates - many of whom pass up other opportunities to accept. Their timeline to send a 'written' offer is anywhere from 1 month to 3 months - IF they actually send a written offer after making a verbal one.
