      Pros

      Innovative tech company. Strong changes to improve culture. Stock price has increased significantly with current CEO

      Cons

      The company would significantly benefit from doing mandatory manager training. Several people have teams that report to them and have no skills when it comes to providing constructive criticism, encouragement, and fostering collaboration. People often switch teams solely due to the fact that their direct manager is not equipped to be a manager.

      Pros

      Established company. Plenty of benefits, fairly competitive compensation.

      Cons

      High turnover, achieve earnings numbers maintain stock price through regular layoffs. Company made too many acquisitions between 2014 and 2016.

      It's a big company with some focus issues

      Pros

      The people in my office are talented and good to work with, including the local management. Compensation is good, including standard benefits, stock purchase plan and RRSP matching. Vacation policy is generous. Sick time allotment is not so great but it has not been an issue for me. Little perks like birthday vacation and 2 days per year to spend on volunteering.

      Cons

      Lack of trust in the long term direction of the company. They regularly acquire companies and seem to change focus every few years. Regular layoffs across the organisation. Don't get complacent. If you are not working on 'the new shiny' then you might find your project cancelled or moved to India.
