Pros

People I work with are mostly kind and work very hard.

Cons

PTC as company and departments have broken many promises to it's people. New people coming in have turned great culture into regular old pharma culture in departments. You will work like a dog and not get recognition unless you are a favorite.

Pros

Pros: Flexible with hours. Good amount of vacation. Knowledgeable scientists in the area of RNA.

Cons

Cons: The upper management seems to continue to push PTC-124 through clinical trials. Although it has failed multiple times, it appears management is too emotionally involved to know when to invest resources in something something more promising. This may eventually cause some problems with the survivability of the company. The level of nepotism in this company is more than I have experienced in any other work experience. We went multiple years without a pay increase.

The company used to be a nice place to work. However, everything has been changed lately.

Cons

It is very toxic working environment. People always worried be fired or laid off. The manager had to force people to give a good rating at Gallup survey.
