Emphasis on ongoing development & a long-term career path

Pros

Especially for early-tenure professionals, there is an emphasis on your ongoing and continuous career development. When you're feeling stuck or unsure of where to go next in your career, there are tons of opportunities for you to explore what you're good at and what you could be better at. I am constantly receiving feedback from my manager and feel I am able to communicate what I need from them as a manager. I love that there are continued educational workshops to teach me about how emotional management plays a part in my day-to-day professional and personal life, and there are ways I can continue being a student and expand my skillsets. I feel that I can have a long-term career here, which I know a lot of people can't always say about their place of employment.

Cons

I do not have many cons to say about the company - I have been working here for a while now and see this as a place where I can continue to grow!

Pros

Most day-to-day coworkers are amazing to work with professionally and get to know personally.

Cons

Best way to describe it: Have you ever seen Jordan Peele's movie 'Get Out' ?? If you are a neurodivergent individual, this company is not a safe place for you. If you respect yourself, value your time and your health, this company is not for you. If you have a creative idea or an improvement on efficiency - keep it to yourself. Keep your head down and conform to the procedures/rules that will change daily - if not more frequently. Policy enforcement and procedure will change on a case by case basis for no rhyme or reason. Do not speak unless spoken to. Do not ask for further direction/clarity - you will be insulted; passive aggressively. Nepotism runs deep here. The company culture operates much like a cult. Leadership sits on a high horse with a profound disconnect from the expectations and reality of the job - but you will often be reminded (gaslit) that they too once did your position. ..When the company (and workload) was 70% smaller. You will be working the most important department within the company, juggling (what you'll soon figure out is) 3 different positions for the salary of one. Albeit one of the lowest salaries in the company.
