Pros

Helping out the Environment. You can pick your start time of either 8 or 9. If you need a day off and do not have enough sick/vacation time you can make up your time on 2 different saturdays with in the same pay period

Cons

Crappy Pay. The harder/more efficient that you work the more work you get. Older PM's manage less projects and make more money but do WAY less work. Huge disconnect between the different departments. Non-existent training. Absolutely no follow through from senior management. The company made employees burn up Vacation time in Jan and Feb because revenue was down, but still had enough money to have a company party and profit sharing... If you want to cut costs start by cutting unnecessary party costs, instead of taking my Accrued vacation time!!

Pros

Coworkers were “nice” (at least to your face)

Cons

I do NOT recommend working here. I was taken on at $18.25/hr at Hazelwood as a recent graduate from a nationally ranked college and worked here for two months before realizing it was not a good fit (to put it politely). The people are nice to your face, sure, but there is absolutely no communication regarding expectations or feedback for improvement. I received conflicting instructions from my supervisor and trainers and was reprimanded no matter whose instructions I followed. They claim to value employee safety, satisfaction, and ideas for improvement—but I was yelled at for filling out a “safety idea form” because it would “send a ping to corporate.” The training is bare minimum, the pay is subpar, the staff is overworked, and they **do not set you up for success.** I have no qualms with the coworkers (we were all trying to survive in the same leaking boat) but the management appears to view you more as a disposable set of hands than as a long-term asset to the team. Their strategy is to use you and dump you with no warning, just a laundry list of all the expectations you did not meet (which they never communicated with you in the first place).
