Would Not Recommend Working for ISG

Pros

Coworkers are good people. Made a lot of friends. Good work/life balance.

Cons

Sales: please be prepared to read the company handbook on comissions prior to coming on board. It is very odd and not in-line with the industry standards. Managements business sense for ISG is a little odd Managers did not fully grasp what their employees did, making it difficult to provide good advice and accurate employee reviews. No recognition of employees. Pretty obvious signs of sexism in the department. No advancement or career opportunities. Little accountability for actions. Compensation is about 20,000 below industry standard for similar experience. Benefits and vacation are not generous, to say the least.

Pros

Awesome co-workers. Relaxing environment. Steady work. Great places to be placed. ie 3M

Cons

It's a data game. Not necessarily about what you bring to the table. Bachelor's degrees over skills and ability at times. Background checks should be run BEFORE someone obviously qualified is offered a position. We look ridiculous when there's no excuse other than a piece of paper. I may be too nice and competent for this position and/or company.
