Sexism from even the few women in corporate management

Pros

I loved the work I did and the people I worked with. We had great success meeting the demands of the business. I had a great rapport with my teammates and the lab staff.

Cons

I was replaced by a male and told that I wasn't good at my job despite the positive review I received from the same person earlier. No clear reason why.

Built my resume a bit. Made some great friends.

Cons

The pay is well below industry standards. You don't get your last commission check even if you were employed for that whole month. Very much a boys' club, and there are disparities in male/female salaries. Management has no strategy, and you suffer for it. People get promoted for being at the right place at the right time. I worked very hard, and had very little to show for it. Some of the upper management are hostile, while others are not engaged or effective.

I had awesome co-workers and amazing/hardworking staff.

Cons

Everything felt like an uphill battle. The environment is very intense and groups and divisions do not work together. There is a very large gender gap. Women are often disrespected (from all levels especially upper management), talked over and severely under paid.
