Thank you for your review. Pace has a very committed recruiting process in the effort to get the best talent for every open position. Our industry is very competitive with attracting employee talent, and we are continuing to improve our benefits, employee education, and company culture to keep turnover at a minimum. We wish you the best in all of your future endeavors.

Pros

You’ll get a cool job title that might help you land a better job after you get a few years of experience.

Cons

Little to no opportunities for growth. Higher ups take all the revenue for themselves. Employees are given enticing titles like Assistant Chemist to compensate for lack of compensation and are expected to break their backs to make their bosses more money. Expect no bonuses, little time off, and mandatory overtime often. ESC has recently been bought out by a huge corporation (Pace Analytical) and the changes are killing moral. The company used to be employee owned.... not anymore!

Pros

Got plenty to laugh at when you watch the sales management team!

Cons

They have the biggest sales team in the industry and the worst performers. Sales management is the good old boy network. These clowns insist on using the CRM, but don't use it themselves. They aren't managers, they're nothing but a club and run good sales people off. They are buying up companies, then they compete with themselves. ESC competes against Pace. Funny to watch. ESC sales folks say they will never give in to Pace.

Thank you for your feedback. At Pace, we are continuously looking to improve as an organization and we take all employee feedback into consideration. The reason we have one of the largest sales teams among environmental testing companies is because Pace is the largest American owned analytical testing organization in the United States. We are very proud of our growth. Continuous improvement requires honest professional feedback along with a willingness to admit we are not perfect and can always strive to improve. I understand you may be uncomfortable following up on this post, but please feel free to email or call me directly with feedback. If you have any specific suggestions on how we can improve, I'd love to hear them. While I'm confident in our development and growth as a company, there's always room for improvement. I hope to hear from you. -Greg Whitman EVP of Sales
