Pros

Built my resume a bit. Made some great friends.

Cons

The pay is well below industry standards. You don't get your last commission check even if you were employed for that whole month. Very much a boys' club, and there are disparities in male/female salaries. Management has no strategy, and you suffer for it. People get promoted for being at the right place at the right time. I worked very hard, and had very little to show for it. Some of the upper management are hostile, while others are not engaged or effective.

Training and on-boarding is something we are currently reviewing for improvements. We’re sadden you didn’t feel you had a better experience while working with us, but your feedback will be taken in consideration as we move forward with planning on ways to improve.

Pros

Got plenty to laugh at when you watch the sales management team!

Cons

They have the biggest sales team in the industry and the worst performers. Sales management is the good old boy network. These clowns insist on using the CRM, but don't use it themselves. They aren't managers, they're nothing but a club and run good sales people off. They are buying up companies, then they compete with themselves. ESC competes against Pace. Funny to watch. ESC sales folks say they will never give in to Pace.

Thank you for your feedback. At Pace, we are continuously looking to improve as an organization and we take all employee feedback into consideration. The reason we have one of the largest sales teams among environmental testing companies is because Pace is the largest American owned analytical testing organization in the United States. We are very proud of our growth. Continuous improvement requires honest professional feedback along with a willingness to admit we are not perfect and can always strive to improve. I understand you may be uncomfortable following up on this post, but please feel free to email or call me directly with feedback. If you have any specific suggestions on how we can improve, I'd love to hear them. While I'm confident in our development and growth as a company, there's always room for improvement. I hope to hear from you. -Greg Whitman EVP of Sales

Pros

Laid back environment. Flexible hours. Good entry level job for recent college graduates that want to get their foot into the door.

Cons

Very low pay. Pays way below standards. High turn over. 3M is stealing all your best talents because they know talent when they see one! Hostile environment.
