      Much like working for the government. Bureaucracy at its finest.

      Pros

      Stable hours, a company that is well known, good pay, ability to move to other subsidiaries.

      Cons

      HR was difficult to work with, a lot of people are waiting for retirement and don't seem to care about their work. Didn't feel valued as an employee, and all young workers there were pretty miserable.

      Pros

      The office is located in downtown Portland and they have a very nice office building, that's about all one can say about this company.

      Cons

      Poor Leadership, lack of respect for anyone not in a leadership position. Stay far away. Not worth your time

      Insultingly Awful Health Insurance

      Pros

      Good pay, above average compared to industry.

      Cons

      Worst health insurance I have ever seen. For a family and a $400 deductable, they make you pay $830 A MONTH! Even just the HDHP HSA plan, it costs a family $354 a month. Rediculous. I have worked at a few utilities as a lineman, and this is about 2.5 times than I have ever had to pay before. This is in Wyoming.
