      A company that doesn't care about their staff at all.

      Went for a meal once.

      Cons

      > Terrible manager, totally out of his depth. Laughably bad at times. > Not paid on time on more than one occasion. > Culture of deceit, often Head Office would hide the truth or completely lie. > Was told the office would grow rapidly. It shrunk. > Constant threats of being fired. > No praise when one has done well. > Never received a copy of our contracts, manager kept them in a locked drawer, where they are to this day. > No attempt to fix bugs in the software despite numerous complaints. > Seemingly no knowledge of British culture whatsoever. > Constant patronizing of younger employees. > No opportunity for promotion.

      I have worked with great people there - if that can be counted as pros for the company

      Cons

      > very low pay > no training and personal development for employees > no clear career progression path > no communication with employees on what is going on > honesty and transparency does not seem to be a value in the company as employees are lied to, and are not informed of the decisions regarding them > the employees have no value to the company whatsoever, regardless of how high performing they are, and how much of revenue they have generated for the company

      Pros

      Client facing experience. This was a company that had only one main client and we worked in different divisions.

      Cons

      I know some colleagues left after 8 hours but the management always values people who work overtime and zero productivity (I could be even gaming overtime). Compensation is extremely low, low morale, poor training. Emphasis is on hours rather than results. If there is a minor discrepancy/amount less in your compensation/payroll and you want to clarify, they are not easily accessible. Company HR do not respond easily to requests such as employment letters. Not many projects: not much to gain in terms of knowledge.
