Pros

The people are friendly, good work life balance although on some teams not great. You need to set your boundaries. Fully remote, good benefits, but not great. 401K match is only 1% and for their Christmas week that they shutdown they take your PTO days.

Cons

There’s a lot of people leaving across the org, especially in product. It’s very clear why. There’s no career growth here and now with the new CPO we have adopted the Amazonian way of promotions which makes it easier to find a new job rather than to get promoted. With the CMO gone marketing reports to product which is not great. Teams are not well resourced or budgeted for supporting resources. They still act like a startup in some ways and try to do thing on the cheap while wasting money on agencies.

Pros

Fair comp and benefits Generous and considerate WFH/remote first policy Supportive environment during pandemic

Cons

Marketing leadership too passive and inconsistent in messaging and focus Room for professional growth not clearly defined Not a clear path for company growth to $1B - too many competitors and frenemies playing in the same space

Thank you for your feedback. We work hard to offer an employee experience that is inclusive, equitable, and attractive to great talent. We’re so glad to hear that you felt supported in our flexible, remote first environment during your time on the team. Career pathing and realigning on purpose are top priorities for our leadership this year. PagerDuty is People First and we strive to create a workplace where all Dutonians can grow and thrive.
