Pros

Community is strong Location Outdoors most of the time Meals Provided

Cons

Pay is very low. You’re working essentially 22.5 hours a day. Pali is consistently understaffed so as a result you are often overworked. Not a long term job for most. Get very repetitive

Pros

The friends you meet there are amazing and it’s in a beautiful location. Staff is very supportive and caring. Meet great people. Activities and classes can be fun, but can get exhausting. Networking.

Cons

Hardly any time off. Staying in cabin with kids. Pay isn’t great. Long hours.

Pros

It was great to be outside, great food and awesome chefs who were willing to work with dietary needs. Fun coworkers and environment, awesome housing. Really fun experience for a season and for the resume. Would not do it long term.

Cons

Terrible work life balance and the compensation is super poor. Working 22.5 hours a day and making less than $350 a week should be illegal but they make it work.

Thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed the area and food! We employee a huge amount of seasonal staff so lots of dietary needs for staff and guests our kitchen works hard to accomdate! Pay requirements are always followed per state and federal laws! Sorry it isnt quite where you wanted. Free housing, utilties and meals we hope helps make our position more competitive. Inappropriate or unwanted advances are not okay, so thank you for letting us know. Appreciate the info!
