Pros

Panagora is a quickly growing small business with a great reputation in the industry. The company and it's leadership are known for expertise in monitoring and evaluation, organizational learning, and global health. I really enjoyed working with smart, knowledgeable, and interesting colleagues every day! The company has a strong commitment to it's mission and diversity which is felt throughout the company culture.

Cons

A great place to get project management experience. At times limited technical opportunities due to the size and type of contracts Panagora implements.

Pros

The best part of Panagora is the people you'll work it. Passionate about the work being done, committed to the purpose, and incredibly intelligent. Good place to start your ID career, but the organization isn't built to retain employees. VP is kind and knowledgeable, but overworked.

Cons

Junior to mid level staff are not provided opportunities to grow in career and skills. Already acquired skills are not utilized or leveraged by leadership, and people with years and years of experience, multiple languages, and advanced level degrees are drafting transmittal emails, and slotted for admin work better suited for an entry-level/intern position. The organization grew really quickly, but the systems and processes have not caught up. Suggestions and feedback are often collected but not materialized into solutions that address root problems. Retention is awful and the workload falls on the shoulders of already overworked staff.
