Pros
Panagora Group is a woman-owned small business and employee-owned (all employees are part of the Employee stock ownership plan). We focus on global health, and many other sectors in international development and within that area, have specialized in MERL, CLA, KMC, private sector engagement, capacity strengthening and organizational development. We are dedicated in providing high-quality, high-impact international health, development, and learning consulting. We are primarily a USAID contractor and have multiple partnerships, globally. We are located in the DC areas, in Silver Spring, Maryland, with about 40 people locally and 80 worldwide. Panagora ranks in the top third of the Inc. 5000 list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The executive team is always open to creativity and every employee has a voice. Inclusivity in decision making is a priority at all level. I have been working at Panagora for one year now and I feel I am growing as a professional and learning every day. Wellness and the work-life balance is a priority for employees. There are several employee-run committees, for example, I am part of the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Book Club with other colleagues. Panagora is a great place to work at and highly recommend for entry, mid and senior professionals.
Cons
For benefits, Panagora is always assessing their options for their employees and each year benefits get better as the company grows.
