Raises are rare, supposedly once a year but that all depends on each store. You can choose your shift that best fits your schedule but both managed and employees will try to make you stay longer or want you to work on your off days

-Expect to learn recipes by heart and to learn how to use wok which can be very intimidating -Sometimes coworkers refuse to help out unless it is part of their job -Coworkers are often on their phones -Lunch breaks are only 10 minutes -Working the wok can be very straining on the wrists and hands -Cleaning at the end of the night can be dangerous since you are required to stand on wet and oily stove.
