      Pros

      The company is doing very well so I haven't heard a single person being laid off. Once people are hired as permanent, it's unlikely to get let go. The benefits are good only when you are a manager because they get stock options, car allowance, company credit card, and cellphone allowance. Associates get healthcare, 401K, and 15 days of PTO.

      Cons

      Really frugal on everything. Trashcans are taken away to save money. Lights have to be shut off on certain days to save electricity. Paper towel dispensers are adjusted so there is less paper towel coming out. Team building event is restricted to a couple hundred dollars for 20 something people. There's a cap to getting a raise or salary adjustment but every year we have to pay for self development classes. Yes, they do give a learning credit of 400 every year but some of those classes cost more than 1000. If you don't take a self development course, you can't get promoted. Too many unspoken rules. Everything is about perception.

      Humble management, great pay, flexible work schedule, a company that cares about their associates

      Cons

      I have been working for Panda for 3 years and I have had both 2 interviews for an assistant manager promotion but haven't been successful. There seems to be hoops I have to jump to or have to climb Mount Everest to pass my interviews. It's not about how hard you work but your "Appearance". I have proven to be hardworking and dedicated, but it isn't enough.
