Pros

Extremely flexible with schedule, fellow employees are great to work with, fairly simple and straight forward work load. There is a lot of information to take in when training to work but once you learn everything the job is fine to do. The Troy location that I work at is a very high volume store so my experience varies greatly from those at the surrounding stores who are not as busy, but the other associates that I work with do their job well and make sure we all succeed especially in high stress moments.

Cons

Management is extremely out of touch with what it takes to run a high volume store and ensure happy employees as well satisfied customers. The pay is not that great either; I've been working there for 5 years and I'm only at $8.60. I started at $7.50. Right now I'm making $10 and hour but it's a conditional wage in which I have to follow strict rules. I think I should be making about that much without the wage being conditional given my time with the company, my work ethic, track record and things I and my fellow associates have to endure (high turnover rate, incredibly understaffed shifts, 7 and 8 hour shifts with no break, 10-12 hour shifts with only one 30 minute break) and my position (associate trainer).

Pros

My coworkers are enjoyable and friendly.

Cons

Pretty much everyone is overworked, because according to the GM, customers are first. If there is a line when it is time to clock out, I must stay, or finish my duties even it is one or two hours past my clock out time. The location is inordinately busy, and understaffed. The assistant managers (2 out of 4) spend their time dodging associate calls for assistance or just to fill the void where an associate should be. Most customers are patient, but some feel we should kiss their hiney like a full service restaurant.

Pros

Its a really laid back environment. If you are dedicated you could run the place. Lots of potential in my location if everyone looked out for one another

Cons

Its like a relationship turned stale, the employees get along for the most part and some moments you could feel the potential for the place to be a second home but, nobody puts forward any true effort They would rather over look very, very visible dirt/crumbs because of laziness. Again, you can see a lot of potential every now and again but, no. Half assers, this is the perfect job for you. Management is a bit immature. Petty gossip. No pride in work. Low pay. No hours at ALL.
