Pros

I noticed ALL Paneras had customers who depended on the brand and who stayed loyal to old mantra of fresh food were friendly and patient but didn’t know natural ingredients were being pulled from menu and customers died by poor labeling like caffeinated drinks.

Cons

Also noticed at ALL Paneras, the Management never communicated well on schedule changes affecting your income and horrible pay rate and gruesome work added to your plate plus maintaining unkind work culture between employees in order to prop themselves up the ladder or maintain their management level as to blame others rather than take responsibility to make changes. Self-preservation was the key as the company wanted high profit margins and to become a public company as to benefit execs in stock options and stock market for themselves; regularly looking to merge or be sold to other food management firms. Its in the news or online even though they don’t tell staff.

Pros

Pay was okay, but honestly not enough for the amount of injuries I sustained.

Cons

Not honest about pay changes, changed policies and rules in ways that screwed us over, took advantage of the good ones until burn out. I was always guilt tripped whenever I tried to call out which wasn't often, then told about bskers who regularly called out. The list goes on

Pros

In California they pay 20$/hr.**

Cons

**BUT at my location they also removed the ability to get tips. It’s highly stressful due to poor managers and toxic work environment though coworkers were nice, there’s little to no interaction because there’s not enough staff there. They didn’t prove food for staff like I’ve heard everywhere else does. They were shady and illegal with their onboarding process and I was decimated against, in which they knew and did not care. It took mere days to trigger mental health issues which ruined all my life. I had to quit my post grad career services program and up my psych medication. I lost money working there. My sanity. They never provided any on boarding info like contracts or even how to contact HR. I cannot stress enough, how awful this was, and I’ve had many jobs in my life and I’ve never had a problem with anyone anywhere before this.
