Pros

Pros: I love, love, love our regulars. They make the day so much better. Very flexible schedule, you get the days off you ask for (9 times out of 10) If you are a manager's favorite, you will get the hours You get paid more than minimum wage The food is very good

Cons

Cons: The crazy customers that come in on their phones in the line and get mad because you got their orders wrong or didn't ask them for their mypanera card. We did, you just were not paying attention. Please, be respectful and get off your phone when we take your orders. It is very hard work, and you get little appreciation for the things you do. Not to mention that the pay is barely above minimum wage and not equivalent to the amount of work you do. High turnover and not enough time to properly prepare the associates we train (Lack of preparation+Frustration=quitting) If you are not a manager's favorite, you will get one day, maybe two, a week. They fire one person for no call no show when they do it twice, but the manager's favorite does it all the time, and yet he stays employed.

Pros

- Great people that work there. Very much a "family" unit - Loyal nice customers - You can have fun at your job - Not a bad uniform - Can be a satisfying job at times - Can have a good chance of advancement if you work hard and really want it - Chance to learn a lot about a company if you try

Cons

- Very low pay - Rarely any raises - Very stressful during rushes - Managers can't handle stress (creates a bad example and makes them less respected by associates) - Managers talk badly about associates to fellow associates - When you ask off for a day you have to work anyways - Unpaid brakes that can be rushed if it's busy - Rarely a thanks for a good job - Never get the hours you request - Low chance of holidays off - Chance of pay freeze - Bad gossip
