Pros

Free movies, laid back, but good management, fun co-workers, discounted and sometimes free food and drinks, and typically low pressure environment

Cons

Low pay, lack of hours, corporate complains about lack of sales but never spends money to help the theater stay relevant to customers and competitive to the multitude of other theaters nearby. Our location is old and a bit worn down and we lost a lot of our crowds and customers to new, better theaters being built in the area, which cut our hours and sometimes we would be severely understaffed and then when you would get a rush of people, it would be stressful. Also, because the theater was old, EVERYTHING would break: marquis, overhead projectors, popcorn machine, and even the air-conditioning at one point (corporate refuses to just replace/update our theater).

Pros

Free movie passes, cheap lunch meals for break, friendly and welcoming atmosphere with new employees, challenging but good job to those new to work environment, flexible hours, easy to take off days as student or work for summer then leave for college, excellent starter job especially for someone looking for pocket money,

Cons

Terrible management, obvious favoritism from management, promotion is based off availability not actual ability, employee of the month is a joke amongst employees, employees are mostly young and immature (expected though for minimum wage), write-ups are not enforced correctly and are randomly distributed for whenever a manager feels like it (rumored there is set maximum amount but managers do not know about enforcing it when questioned and are unaware of policies), management is mismanaged, stressful and loud environment (basic movie theater environment), shifts are usually long with one given 30 minute break every few hours (ish), working on your feet the entire shift
