      Pros

      The environment was pretty layed back but very competitive. Absolutely no dress code and people seemed to be very nice and approachable.

      Cons

      Though people seemed nice and approachable, I realized that the other employees were very fake and not understanding. Smile in your face and talk about you behind your back but that's almost at any company.

      Great corporate culture, fun work environment, interesting projects, great philanthropic activities (Viacom Day).

      Cons

      Cliquish!! People are not promoted based on their skill set, knowledge, and professional capabilities. Most are promoted based on who they know.

      Pros

      There is a very laid back culture at MTV and the people are very nice. Lots of perks to the job, and the hours aren't too bad.

      Cons

      The pay is not as good as you would get at some other media and entertainment companies. I would look elsewhere if you want to get paid the big bucks.
