Pros

- Good and smart people working in the company. Mostly a pleasure to deal with if they are not in management roles. - Flexible work hours and opportunity to work from home - Invest into training if you will ask for that at the right time

Cons

- Company doesn't let go of old processes and doesn't want to change them for better. Only separate departments can adapt, but then blocked by other departments that are not touched by the change. - No buy in from management for anything new, when things starting to down the hill everyone revert to old ways and don't finish change transition. - Do not invest into technology or innovation - Leadership doesn't provide proper support to personnel, just pressure people into working overtime to get things done faster. - They are not Agile even through they formally has adapted Agile and SAFe. - Mindset shift is impossible, every "new" process results in being even worse and less efficient. - Do not care about their people (vacation can be denied to deliver release, ppl expected to always work overtime, burn people out, play on a fact that some people can't leave because on visa) - Bios to hiring certain nationalities. - Always conflicting priorities and no clear vision for the future. - Terrible corporate culture.

Pros

PAREXEL seems to hire very positive employee's and the overall environment is very supportive. The salaries are competitive with other CRO's and I think might be a bit higher once you're above the entry level position or coming in from another company.

Cons

It's a CRO so travel is the primary thing that creates CRA turnover. While they try to keep folks regionalized, it is a challenge for any CRO to do this consistently. However, they do listen to you when you are stretched too thin, but it often takes a long time to reduce the travel. As a CRA your performance is based on travel verses quality and that is a problem, but again, it's a CRO and I think that is the nature of the beast being a service industry provider. It's challenging to get everything done with the amount of travel required, this results in really good employee's often receiving the same annual increase as mediocre employee's and this does not result in positive incentives.

Pros

Decent benefits (insurance plans, 401K).

Cons

Company was in transition, which created a lot of uncertainty. Attrition appeared to be quite high. Many in middle management had lack of pertinent experience and education, this compounded an already stressed organization. Salaries seemed to be lower than industry average. Management had no regard for work/life balance. Very long work hours. Company lacked vision and resources for developing a strong career path.
